Create a project | CubeCMP

Projects (also referred to as tenants) define the scope for resource allocation and access control. When you initiate CubeCMP, the system creates a default project for required backend services. You can create as many additional projects as your architecture requires.

Before you begin​

  1. Ensure that external networks are configured in CubeCOS prior to creating your first project.

Creating a new project​

  1. In the CubeCMP management console, switch to the DEFAULT tab.

    The DEFAULT tab contains configurations that are tenant wide possible for administrators to manage projects and tenants.

  2. To create a new project.

    Go to Projects tab, and click on Create Project.

  3. To configure a project parameters, enter the following fields:

    • Project Name (Required): Enter a unique identifier (for example, dev-team-a or infra-core).
    • Description (optional): Enter a summary of the project's purpose.
    • External Networks (Required): Select the network the project uses for its resources
    Enter details for the new project.
  4. To begin project creation, click on Create Project.

  5. To verify that the project has been created, check the Projects tab for the new project with the Active status.
