Create New Local Users

User accounts are required to access CubeCMP. Accounts can be created manually or synchronized via LDAP/SAML identity provider integration.

Create a new local user​

  1. Navigate to the CubeCMP authentication management interface at https://<your-cubecmp-vip>/auth.

  2. Log in with your admin credentials.

  3. Navigate to Manage > Users to manage CubeCMP local users.

  4. Click View All Users to see all created users or proceed to add a new user.

    Click on view all users to display all CubeCMP local users.

  5. Click Add User.

  6. Provide the following details:

    • Username (Required): A unique username to identify the CubeCMP user.
    • Email Address (Optional): Used for password recovery and receiving alerts.
    • Password: Specify a temporary or permanent password.
    • Required User Actions: Define any actions required for the user.

  7. Click Save to create the new user account.

Require a Password Change on First Login​

To enforce a password change on the first login:

  1. Select the user ID of the user who needs to change their password on first login.
  2. Go to the Credentials tab.
  3. Enter a temporary password for the user.
  4. Toggle the Temporary option to On to require a password change on first login.
  5. Click Set Password.
  6. The user will be prompted to update their password during their first login to the portal.
