Reserve a floating IP

This document describes how to reserve a floating IP address on a public network.

Reserve a floating IP address​

  1. In the CubeCMP management console, navigate to the Networking page.
  2. Go to Floating IPs tab.
  3. Configure the following floating IP parameters.
    • Public Network: Select a public network. The floating IP address is allocated from the network you choose.
    • Floating IP (Optional): Enter a specific floating IP address from the network you choose. If you leave this field blank, CubeCMP automatically allocates an address from the network.
    • Resource (Optional): Select a Load Balancer or Instance to be assigned to the floating IP address. If you leave this field blank, CubeCMP reserves the address for future use.
  4. Click Reserve and Assign Floating IP.
