Release Note

Abstract​

Bigstack CubeCOS 2.2.0 is a major release for CubeCOS cloud operating system. This release provides the following updates to Bigstack CubeCOS version 2.1.0:

    • Multi-cluster Console: To manage multiple Cube clusters in a single place

    • New Notification Type (Executable): To provide a flexible way for service integration outside Cube - Sending alerts via webhook, syslog, or snmp trap, etc
    • API Gateway: One Place to Manage All API Services
    • Device Monitor: To monitor Devices outside Cube Platform

Enhancements​

  • Upgraded OpenStack to Wallaby
  • Upgraded Ceph to v16 pacific
  • Added support of individual mirrored volume on promotion/demotion
  • Added support of UEFI VM images
  • Changed image upload path from /var/support to /mnt/cephfs for more capacity
  • Added Chassis monitoring in Host panel - Temperature, fan speed, etc
