Create instance Snapshot

The Create Instance Snapshot function captures the current state of a virtual machine, including its disk and configuration, allowing you to create a reusable image for backup or future deployments

Create Snapshot

1. Navigate to Project > Compute > Instances, choose the desired instance, then hover over More.

   

2. Hover over Backup & Snapshot in the drop-down menu, then click Create Snapshot.

   

3. Name the snapshot, then click OK to proceed.

   

4. Navigate to Project > Compute > Instance Snapshots to verify that your snapshot has been created.
