Hyperconverged Architecture (HCI) – Six Nodes or More​

The Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) deployment separates the control plane from the compute with storage services. This design improves performance, provides clearer resource isolation, and supports flexible scaling. Minimum hardware requirements are categorized into two node roles: Control Nodes and Compute with Storage Nodes.

Web Scale - Eight nodes and above​

The Web-Scale deployment is a disaggregated HCI architecture that separates cluster roles into dedicated control, compute, and storage nodes. This structure allows for higher scalability, better fault isolation, and optimized performance across specialized node types.
