Notification by Level

CubeCOS provides two levels of resource usage notifications:

  1. Administrative Level Notification: Monitor host-level resource usage, including CPU, memory, and disk capacity.
  2. Instance Level Notification: Track virtual machine resource usage, such as vCPU, vRAM, and attached volumes.
tip

Slack or Email (SMTP) notifications must be configured before enabling trigger alerts.

Notification level setting​

  1. Configure either Slack or Email (SMTP) as your preferred notification method to receive alerts for system or instance-level events.

  1. Navigate to Event section

  2. Switch to the Triggers panel

  3. You can toggle the status of each trigger on or off by using the switch in the Status column.
