# Change the display language

## Overview {#overview}

CubeCOS and the Skyline (OpenStack) dashboard support multiple languages. You can change your display language directly from the top navigation bar in both interfaces.

## Supported Languages {#supported-languages}

The platform offers different levels of language support depending on the component you are using.

### CubeCOS (Core System) {#cubecos-core-system}

CubeCOS is a self-hosted private cloud platform that provides full public cloud capabilities and enterprise-grade data center orchestration. It serves as a modular, software-defined foundation for modern infrastructure, from edge computing to large-scale data centers.

Below are the main features of the platform:

- **Cluster Management**: Supports flexible deployment models—from three-node All-in-One (AIO) clusters for edge computing to Web-scale deployments of 9+ nodes—allowing for seamless horizontal scaling without downtime.
- **Integrated Monitoring**: Features **Cube Infrascope**, a centralized system management service and web-based dashboard that provides visibility into the control plane and cluster health.
- **Hardware Monitoring**: Tracks physical health, enforcing stability through mirrored boot disks (RAID 1) and HBA-backed storage controllers.

### Skyline (OpenStack Dashboard) {#skyline-openstack-dashboard}

Skyline is an open-source cloud computing platform used to orchestrate large pools of compute, storage, and networking resources through a set of shared APIs. It provides a standardized framework for managing diverse private and public cloud infrastructures alongside CubeCOS.

Below are the main features of Skyline:

- **Project and IAM Management**: Keystone centralizes identity, provides multi-tenant isolation through Projects, and acts as the service catalog for the entire cloud.
- **Compute Management**: Nova orchestrates the full lifecycle of virtual machine instances by scheduling and managing resources across physical hypervisors.
- **Storage Management**: Cinder provides persistent block volumes (virtual disks), while Swift offers scalable object storage for unstructured data via API.
- **Network Management**: Neutron provides "Networking as a Service," managing virtual switches, routers, and security groups to connect and protect instances.
- **File Shares**: Manila manages shared file systems, such as NFS and CIFS, allowing multiple instances to simultaneously mount and access the same storage.

To change the language, select your preferred language from the dropdown menu in the top-right corner, as shown below:

1. To change the language, click the **User Icon** in the top-right corner.
2. Select a language from the **Switch Language** menu.
